' Bonnie Anderson, owner of Potters Addict Ceramic Art Centre, studied at the University of Calgary where she triple majored in painting, printmaking and ceramics. From 1986 until 1990, before coming to Kelowna, Bonnie worked as a Ceramic Arts Instructor and Painting Instructor for the City of Calgary. In 1990 the lure of the Okanagan brought Bonnnie to Kelowna with the dream of establishing a ceramic arts centre. Since then, she has been teaching pottery to children, youths, adults and seniors in her studio, called The Potters Addict. Bonnie's love of clay is most vividly shown in her hand-built female clay creations which are finished using the ancient method of Raku firing.

In clay, Bonnie tries to stay away from the "traditional styles" of ceramics, enjoying the creation of funky Raku products. Picasso and Matisse have been a great source of inspiration for her as evidenced in her paintings and ceramic pieces. Women are the main theme in most of her work and it is women with a good sense of humour who purchase it. Bonnie has recently added porcelain circle bowls to her collection.

Bonnie and her well chosen instructors, continue to teach wheel and hand-building classes at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels as well as raku classes at the Potters Addict Ceramic Art Centre, Studio 108 - 421 Cawston Avenue (Rotary Centre for the Arts), in Kelowna, BC. Several of her former students have become fine potters who also hold memberships in the Okanagan Potters Association.
